Actor, comedian and exasperated dad Mac dies at 50

Bernie Mac blended style, authority and a touch of self-aware bluster to make audiences laugh as well as connect with him. For Mac, who died Saturday at age 50, it was a winning mix, delivering him from a poor childhood to stardom as a standup comedian, in films including the casino heist caper “Ocean’s Eleven” and his acclaimed sitcom “The Bernie Mac Show.”
One of my favorite comedians is gone. I didn’t know the guy, but I kinda feel like I just lost a family member.
Rest in peace, Bernie.

To think, just this morning I awoke with several constants;
1. The sun always rises in the east,
2. there are roughly 365 days in a year, and
3. there is absolutely nothing redeemable, entertaining, funny, or interesting about Paris Hilton.
That was until this threw my entire world into chaos:

Paris too hot for ‘wrinkly dude’ McCain
Check out the article here.
What the hell man! What the hell? Paris Hilton just out-witted McCain’s campaign manager? She just said something interesting, funny, and dare I say, somewhat witty?
You realize this means that the constants in our universe are no longer constant, right? The quantum singularities at the event horizons of black holes may lead to alternate universes instead of certain annihilation, unlocking the key to time travel may be as simple as putting aluminum foil in the microwave, and Santa Clause may in fact, live on the North Pole.
Wrap your minds around this. I’m blogging… about Paris Hilton. I just devoted an entire blog entry to… Paris Effing Hilton.
I’d continue, but blood just shot from my nose.
